Industry Introduction

    • Titanium is known as the space metal and the cosmic metal, due to its low specific gravity, it is second only to aluminum, but titanium's hardness is similar to steel. The current applications of titanium alloys alone have amounted to more than 1,000 tons in cosmic navigation. In addition, there is also very fine titanium powder, which is also a good fuel for rocket launchers.

    • Titanium has a very low specific gravity and good heat and cold resistance. When a supersonic aircraft flight, the temperature of its wings can reach 500 ℃. If a more heat-resistant aluminum alloy manufacturing wings, one to two or three hundred degrees will not be able to eat, then there must be a kind of light, but also tough, but heat-resistant materials to replace the aluminum alloy, and titanium alloy is just able to meet these requirements. Titanium can also withstand the test of minus 100 ℃, in this low temperature, titanium still has good toughness, will not be brittle, and affect the physical properties.

    • Titanium alloy is a new and important structural material used in the aerospace industry, titanium has specific gravity, strength, and operating temperature between aluminum and steel, but titanium's high specific strength and good resistance to seawater corrosion function and ultra-low temperature function.

    • Titanium alloy in the aviation engine dosage usually accounted for the layout of the total weight of 20% to 30%, mainly used for the production of pressurized parts, such as casting titanium fan, pressurized disk and blade, cast titanium pressurized magazine, intermediary magazine, bearing shells and so on.

  • Spacecraft mainly use titanium alloy's high strength, corrosion resistance, and low-temperature resistance to produce a variety of pressure vessels, fuel storage tanks, fasteners, instrument straps, frames, and rocket shells. Artificial Earth satellites, lunar modules, manned spaceships, and space shuttles also use titanium alloy plate welding parts.
